All of the paperwork has been submitted and is currently in Moscow being translated. Our son will be off the national registry at the end of September, and available for international adoption. Yes it is very weird to say “Our Son” it’s still surreal to think of it that way.

So we still have some stuff left to do, we have to get fingerprinted at INS, and we have to hurry up and wait for an invitation from the Russian government to make our first of two trips to Siberia. Of this whole process the waiting is the worst because there is nothing we can do to affect the process.

Me I was in the military I’m used to the whole process of rush everything then hurry up and wait, Jen isn’t. I think this is just mentally exhausting for her. We just remind ourselves that it’s the end result that matters.

Something to say?
